Meeting Description

Why

If you love playing awesome pickup on turf, under the lights.

Organized by

"By the bleachers next to the turf field."
--Matt Rosine (Founder and Director)

Details

We have been able to book four Monday night dates on the turf field at Montrose!

For those of you who haven't played pickup with us on the turf before, here is how it works:

Full 11v11, 45 minute half games.

RSVP's will be capped at 30 people with a smooth sub system in place to make sure everyone gets equal time on the field.

Cost will be $12 - the Park District have doubled their price from last season, so it's a bit more expensive for us to get this field.

Skill level is mixed with mostly mid intermediate to mid advanced in attendance. The aim of this game is to have fun. Ball hogging, goal cherry picking, and on-field coaching of other players is severely frowned upon, and heavily discouraged.

We'll have pinnies available as usual.

Please use the Paypal button to pay right now, AND THEN RSVP (not the other way round). Also bring your receipt along with you on the night to save any of those "the Paypal website told me it went through" conversations :o)

This will be an awesome way to start up the week - a full turf game under the lights, with real goals.

Just so everyone knows, this actually is capped at 30 people, we just had some who were confused about the paying/RSVPing deal so we had more people turn up than we had spaces for. A good problem to have though!

"Great turf game, everyone was in fun spirits and the sub system worked well. Thanks to everyone who came out. We gotta do a bit of educating about RSVPing, paying, etc - but we'll get there. Looking forward to the next time!"
